Welcome to Opera Paints,
a new world of colour and texture.

The word Opera is Latin for work (as in production). As in any
extraordinary production, Opera Paints brings together all the
elements, the characteristics of colour, the sweep of texture and
movement, and a sense of refinement, to an exciting line of
architectural finishes. And, of course, Opera Paints does it in
an environmentally responsible fashion.

As an art form, opera was invented by a group of Renaissance
Italians to describe a unique combination of music, drama,
scenery and movement. It is where we have taken our inspiration.
As our paints and plasters are developed in Italy, what better
name could we call our exciting new line than Opera Paints.

Opera Paints are made in Italy from the finest products available
in Italy and Europe. The lime in our paints and plasters come
from the regions around Venice, known for centuries for their
exceptional qualities, the water in our paints is from Pascara the
same place were the best pasta in the world is made

All products adhere to a philosophy of offering the highest quality environmentally responsible finishing solutions.  The paints are produced in Italy by Di Donato in one of Europe's most modern paint manufacturing plants. It is one of the few companies in the world which manufactures paints under the International Standards of ISO 9000 and ISO 1400. Di Donato is certified in Europe by ECOLABEL, the equivalent of the U.S. Green Seal Certificate.
